ONLINE APPLICATION FOR GENERAL DEPARTMENTAL COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION (GDCE)
Railway Recruitment Cell invites ONLINE applications from eligible employees of Western Railway working as on the date of Notification for filling up the following posts of NTPC (Graduate) against GDCE Quota as per  vacancies indicated below:

Abbreviations: NTPC(G) Non Technical Popular Category(Graduate), Catg : Category, Com= Commercial, TFC= Traffic, Gen = General, ExSM = Ex-Servicemen, OBC-CL= Other Backward Classes- Creamy Layer, OBC-NCL = Other Backward Classes - Non Creamy Layer,SC = Scheduled Caste, ST = Scheduled Tribe, UR = Unreserved (General) GP = Grade Pay

Education Qualification:

Degree from recognized  University or equivalent. 

Age :

The upper age limit will be 42 years for General candidates, 45 years for OBC candidates and 47 years for SC/ST candidates. 

Pay Scale :

Level 6

Method of Selection :

The selection shall be made strictly as per merit in the written examination and passing Skill Test wherever prescribed and found fit in prescribed Medical category. Category wise merit list will be formed for all the categories.

How to Apply :

1. Visit the official website of RRC-WR .
2. Click on the “ONLINE/E-APPLICATION” link.
3. Click on the “New Registration” icon.
4. Fill in the basic details for registration.
5. Login using the Registration number & password sent to your registered mobile  number.
6. Enter your old password and set your new Password and click on Change Password  icon.
7. Follow the instructions and complete the registration process step-by-step.
8. Upload your scanned recent colour photograph (of size 3.5 cm X 3.5 cm, upto 70kb,  100 DPI,ONLY JPEG format ) and scanned signature (of size 3.0 cm X 6.0 cm, upto  30kb size ONLY in JPEG format) as well as required documents.
9. Submit the application.
10. Opening Date & Time for ONLINE Registration and Filling of Application: 01-07-2019 10.00 hrs.
11. Closing Date & Time for ONLINE Registration & Filling of Application: 30/7/2019 18.00 hrs

Doccument Uploaded :

1 Proof of Date of Birth as mentioned at Para 9.
2 Certificates of Educational Qualification for the post applied.
3 In the case of SC/ST community candidates, Community certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribe format as per Annexure- I of this Notification.
4 In the case of OBC community candidates, Community certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribe format as per Annexure-II of this Notification. This Certificate should specifically indicate that the candidate does not belong to the persons/section (Creamy Layer).
5 Candidates claiming to belong to Other Backward Classes are also required to submit a self declaration in the prescribed format.

Note: Candidates applying against reserved vacancies (SC/ST/OBC) and/or seeking age relaxation must upload requisite Caste Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority. Otherwise, their claim for reservation status (SC/ST/OBC) will not be entertained and the candidature/application of such candidates, if fulfilling all the eligibility conditions for General (Un-reserved) category, will be considered under General (UR) vacancy only.
