The Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TSTRANSCO) with Headquarters at Hyderabad, caters to the transmission needs of the Telangana State with 2,696 C.km of 400 KV transmission lines, 6,907 C.km of 220 KV transmission lines and 10,398 C.km of 132 KV transmission lines. The Transmission network also comprises of 11 Nos. 400 KV Substations, 72 Nos. 220 KV Substations and 214 Nos. 132 KV Substations. Further strengthening is in progress with 18 Nos. 400 KV Substations, 34 Nos. 220 KV Substations and 90 Nos. 132 KV Substations.

Education Qualification:

Must possess SSLC/SSC/10th Class with I.T.I. qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman or 2 years Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical Trade only from a recognized Institution/Board or Institutions registered during combined A.P. / Telangana State Education Department as on the date of notification NOTE: If there is any deviation from the above qualification for the above post, the candidates shall produce the equivalency certificate from the authority issuing the qualification certificate viz Secretary of the institute / Board for accepting his/her application.

Age :

Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. The age is reckoned as on 01.07.2017

Payment of Fees :

Each applicant must pay Rs.100/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities and PH are exempted from payment of examination fee

Method of Selection :

A. Evaluation shall be done as follows:
Total Marks = 100
(i) Written Test Marks : 80 marks
Minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test as per rules :
OC : 40%
BC : 35%
SC/ST : 30%
PH : 30%
(ii) Weightage Marks for in-service outsourced workers engaged on contract basis and who qualify in the Written Test : 20 marks (maximum) as indicated at item ‘C’.
(iii) The eligible candidates will be called for Pole / Tower Climbing test in the ratio of 1:1 duly following Rule of Reservation and Spirit of Presidential Order.
(NOTE: The candidates who qualify in the Pole / Tower Climbing test will only be eligible for appointment to the post of JLM)
B. The in-service contract / outsourced workers working as on the date of Notification in TS Power Utilities and acquired minimum qualifying marks in the written examination only are entitled for the benefit of in-service weightage marks.
C. In-service Weightage marks will be given to the contract / outsourced workers working in TS Power utilities in the following manner

Pay Scale:

Rs.15585-Rs.25200/- per month

How to Apply :

The Applicants have to read the User Guide for Online Submission of Applications and then proceed further.
I Step:- Payment of Fee: The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee as per the notification as detailed above and obtain Fee paid receipt with Journal Number (12 digit) in the first instance.
II Step:- Submission of Application: After payment of Fee, the Candidate has to visit the website http://tstransco.cgg.gov.in to view the detailed notification, User Guide and Application Form. The applicants have to provide payment details (journal number and date) and upload the scanned copy of passport size photograph with signature (see instructions for scanning and uploading photograph with signature) and then invariably fill all the relevant
fields in the Application. Immediately on submission of application, applicant will get an acknowledgement in the form of a downloadable pdf document.
