Payment of Application Fee :

Applicants/Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- for Executive Posts (E-0 & above) & Rs. 500/- for Non-Executive Posts (JE (S-2), Sr. Stenographer (S-2) & OfficeAssistant Stenography— Gr. III (W-3)) (Candidate will be levied tax/charge from their transaction bank, as applicable). SC. ST PWD & Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Candidates are required to make application fee payment through debit card/credit card/net-banking. The candidates will be automatically redirected to make online payment (wherever fees is applicable), once the form is successfully completed.
No other mode of payment will be accepted. Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before payment of application fee.
 

Selection Process :

The Selection procedure will be notified by NBCC for each post depending upon the response received against each post. Decision of NBCC will be final in this regard.
Selected candidates will be on probation for one year.

How to Scan the Photograph and Signature :

Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/ her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below. 

Your online application will not be registered unless you upload your photograph and signature as specified.
Photograph Imaging
  1. Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture.

  2. Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.

  3. Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.

  4. If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.

  5. If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye."

  6. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.

  7. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.

  8. Size of file should be between 20kb-50 kb.

  9. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.

Signature Imaging
  1. The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

  2. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.

  3. The signature will be used to put on the Attendance Sheet.

  4. If the applicant’s signature on the answer script at the time of the examination does not match the signature on the Attendance Sheet/ Hall Ticket, the applicant will be disqualified.

  5. Size of file should be between 10kb - 20kb.

  6. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb.

Certificate Imaging
  1. Make sure that text, signature and stamp is clearly visible on the file.

  2. Size of file should be between 10kb - 100kb.

  3. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 100kb.

Scanning the photograph, signature and attachments:-
  1. Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch).

  2. Set Color to True Color.

  3. File Size as specified above.

  4. Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above).

  5. The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is : image01.jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon.

Candidates using MSWindows/ MSOffice can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50kb and 20kb respectively by using MSPaint or MSOffice Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using ‘Save As’ option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50kb (photograph) & 20kb (signature) by using crop and then resize option (Please see point (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size) in the ‘Image’ menu.  Similar options are available in other photo editor also.
If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be displayed.
Procedure for Uploading the photograph, signature or certificates:-
  1. There will be separate links for uploading Photograph, Signature or certificate on registration page.

  2. Click on the respective link for uploading.

  3. Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph, Signature or certificates file has been saved.

  4. Select the file by clicking on it.

  5. Click the 'Upload' button.

Your Online Application will not be registered unless you upload your photograph, signature or certificates as specified. 
Note:  In case the face in the photograph, signature or certificate is unclear the candidate's application may be rejected.

How to Apply:

Steps of Applying Online
  1. Eligible applicants would be required to apply Online ONLY (on the internet) through the link available in NBCC website: www.nbccindia.com. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

  2. Candidates should scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature.

  3. Candidates are first required to go to the NBCC website www.nbccindia.com and click on the link “Career”.

  4. The Online registration will remain active from 10:00 hrs of 24/02/2018 to 18:00 hrs of 25/03/2018 only. In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. NBCC will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature in submission of online application during last days due to heavy rush etc.

  5. Select the post applied and fill in the requisite details in the online application format. All the fields in the online application format should be filled up carefully. After submission of the application, no modification will be permitted.

  6. After successfull submission of online Application form, Submit your fees.

  7. After deposite the required fee candidate need to Login by using combination of Registration No. and Date of Birth through "Acknowledgement - For Registered Candidates Only" link and enter the unique State Bank Collect Reference Number.

  8. After successful submission of challan details candidate can take system Generated Registration Slip. Save the same for future references.

Payment of Application Fees
After successfully saved details, On WELCOME page click on the Payment of Application Fee and accept declaration  Select Payment Category mode  Fill in the required details and proceed to make payment through options : Internet banking/ ATM cum Debit card/ Credit card of leading banks. If candidate does not have any of the options, He/She can generate the challan and deposit cash at any of the SBI branches.
Once you submit your Fee, You will get an unique State Bank Collect Reference Number.
You are requested to again visit our website and click on the link of Acknowledgement - For Registered Candidates Only. After Successful Login, You will get a link to FILL BANK DETAILS, Click on this link and Submit unique State Bank Collect Reference Number and deposit date to complete your registration and generate your Registration Slip.
